DMA: Fort Smith, AR
The FOX - KFTA (24) channel does not appear to be in HD. The EPG does not show any programs in HD. All shows are airing in 4:3 format.
I wasn't home yesterday, but on Thursday night I was watching Kitchen Nightmares in HD. Guide is currently showing HD markers...
If you scroll all of the way to the left in the guide, and highlight the channel number, what is showing for the description?
Did you add the new channel to your favorites?
Channel: KPBI (34) [This is a MPEG4 SD Channel]
Issue: Guide incorrectly lists this station as an independent. They are a MyNetwork TV affiliate. The MPEG2 version (on 72.5) has it correctly listed as MNT.
KAFT-DT, our PBS, has been added to our HD locals.
Keep having audio drop outs. Starts as a video pixelation, then an audio drop for 5-7 seconds. Happens mostly on KFTA-DT 24 and KFSM-DT 5.
I've noticed a lot of audio dropouts in the last couple of weeks.
Sometimes with display problems, but usually the picture is fine, just 5 to 10 seconds of no audio.
I've had this pretty often on the CBS, Fox and NBC stations.
KHBS-DT2, our CW affiliate has been added to our locals as channel 41. It broadcasts over the air as 40-2, a sub channel of ABC affiliate KHBS.
Neighboring Local Channels have been added to the Fort Smith, AR DMA - allowing Tulsa stations to be received by certain zip codes. Per DirecTV's Neighboring Local Channels page (http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/packProg/svLocalChannels.jsp?assetId=1200076), I should be able to receive KTUL, but it has not been added.
My zip code is 74953.
