Wonder if going forward, this has any impact on how these channels fall into "packages".
"Mr. Cuban’s other channel, HDNet Movies, will remain as-is."
Yeah this was announced a while back. I remembered reading about it here.
Got to admit I'll miss some of the Guy's night in programming.
Sigh, another one bites the dust. HDNET used to be a great channel.
Isnt this old news ?
The changes are effective in early July.
I have mixed emotions...
Outside of Nothing But Trailers, I really haven't watched ANYTHING on HDNet in forever...
Had it not been for the fact that I'm in the process of clearing off some older DVRs, I probably would have given "Hustle" a try though.
Hustle isn't an HDNET original. I think it got it's start on AMC in this country.
I know... I just never watched it, and I probably would have given it a try once HDNet started airing it, but the timing wasn't right.
HDNet Joins With Ryan Seacrest...
Nothing But Trailers is pretty much the only thing I watch on there as well. Sometimes I'll catch a Smallville rerun, but that's about it.
Art Mann show is classic....can never get enough of the drunk peeps.
There are some positives: "Seacrest is a stakeholder in the venture, with no plans to contribute as an on-air personality.”
I like Ryan Seacrest a lot, so that's not really a positive for me...
I'm just curious as to what programming changes will be coming...
Well, it's his fault we have the Kardashians on our tvs. Who knows what hell he'll unleash on AXS.
That's what she said.
Nothing But Trailers and Drinking Made Easy. I love watching those guys drink in various places. If I could only get that job. . .
I'm fairly certain his show as well as the other late night "raunchier" shows are going to be gone.
The 3rd from the last paragraph talks about the late night "unrated" shows being cut out.
They've never been on my TV.
