    During a conference call, CEO Joe Clayton said Sirius Satellite Radio is "operationally and commercially on the move." Sirius subscribers increased by 38 percent during the third quarter. More HERE.

    An interesting article appeared in Business Week this morning questioning whether or not Charlie Ergen, CEO of Dish Network, can continue to take on the deep pockets of Rupert Murdoch and the growing competition from cable companies. More HERE.

    CNNfn will be shutting down after 9 years giving up its attempt to compete with CNBC. CNN also said it is planning changes for "Headline News" offering prime-time programming instead of a constantly repeating 30-minute newscast. More HERE.
