Had a breaker switch flip off that shut the lights out in my bedroom. Rest of house ok. After resetting breaker everything went back on. DRV is an HR24. Receiver self checked pass, updating satellite settings passed, hangs on acquiring guide data. Waited several minutes, did red button reboot. same think happened. did again and no change. Went to HR24 DVR in Living Room, everything seems fine, but got message that quide has not been updated in an hour. What do I do now. Appreciate any help.

Any idea why this would happen?

Is there any way to force a guide update/download without doing the dreaded CLEARMYBOX?

Same here. DON'T reboot your receiver. I did and now have no TV at all.

Same here in PA on a HR44, rebooted and now stuck at the dreaded 98% of receiving satellite info. Ugh. Glad it’s not just me, but hope they fix it soon.

Yep. I was posting while the other post was being written. Just my luck that my receiver rebooted as this happened, so I have no television in my bedroom. Still have Living Room, but that is where my wife records her shows. I record mine in the bedroom. Well, hope it gets fixed soon.

All I did on my receiver was turned the power off for a few seconds & then turned it back on & that message went away. I still have TV. I did not reset.

Same in Wisconsin, getting 95%-100% on all birds (99,101,103 and 119). Looks like I picked the exact wrong time to reboot some of my receivers due to falling off the network. I should go out right away and buy some lottery tickets! :(

For anyone else just turn your receiver off for a few seconds or a minute then turn it back on. Worked for me anyway.

I'm at the 98% too. It's an ATT thing, and it's not okay and it happened earlier this year too. It's time to send blasts to ATT on Twitter.
