First do you really have a VIP612? You don't need a single node that is for the HOPPER SYSTEM. What Eastern Arc dish do you have 1000.4 or 1000.2?

Using Dish Pointer for 1000.4 and zip 55337 I get Elv 42.8/ Az 191 mag. and skew 88.5

1000.2 has a switch built in and 1000.2 would use settings for 1000.4 as a starting point

Run a 'check switch' (its in the menu) an give us the results, then we'll go from there.

OK - you are NOT getting 72.7 = you're not getting what you're supposed to.
Is your EA dish a 2 LNB or 3 LNB ?

If it is a 3 LNB, cover the 2 that are close together with aluminun foil, and aim the other one at 61.5 (make sure your Dish is tilted that 88.5 degrees, or you will not get the other satellite(s)). You set the skew first, then aim, then take the foil off and see if the others are being received (via a Check switch).

If it is a 2 LNB EA dish - as you look at it from behind , the 61.5 LNB is on the right, Follow the same - set the skew first, foil the 72.7. aim for 61.5, then pull the foil, then do another check switch.

Also - if I recall correctly, the 612 is a dual tuner single output DVR. This means you should have a DPP Separator (looks kind of like a splitter, but it isn't). The Separator needs to be there to make both tuners see the satelltes if you are using 1 cable. You wouldn't need it if you have 2 cable going from the dish LNB to to 612.

If after all this, you still can't get both 61.5 and 72.7, call Dish for a tech to come out and install it for you.
