At times while watching MPEG-4 HD local the video start studdering and the sound will cut out at times and then there is lip sync issues after that for several seconds and then it goes back to normal for a while. Then the cycle will repeat every once in a while.

When I FF the screen goes black and you can't see where to end. This is happening on HD programs. When I tried it on an SD program to see if it would happen on that. As soon as I hit the FF button the screen froze for a while then I got an "unknown error". Then it popped up and said "Server has disconnected. Please check Server status." I then clicked close and it brought up Server Selection screen and it searched for a while and couldn't find the server. So, I exited the program and went back into it and it still couldn't find the server.

So, then I rebooted the computer and went back to the program. It still couldn't find the server. When the program I am recording ends I will try powering off and on the HR20 and that doesn't work. I will try a reset. I will let you know what happens.

Ok, I reset the receiver and that fixed the issue. I was able to get the software on the PC to see the HR20 again. One weird thing. When I reset. I was on channel 4 and when it went back to live TV it was on channel 647.

So, now back to my original problem. I tried to see if I could duplicate the FF black screen on SD program. It would work to were you could see the program during FF. But, it was very choppy.

That was 4 days ago that they hadn't heard yet. Just checking to see if they could get an update of a final answer.

Tom, can we say 2 installs per person would be ok for 3926? I would like to try one laptop and one desktop if thats ok. Thanks.

Two per person should be fine. Anything more than that, PM Earl or I.

    Cheers,
    Tom
