Says "canceled" in history.
What DVR was it supposed to record on?
I have the same problem. It was supposed to record on my HR20-700. While I am annoyed, I know that I can catch the replay on USA, But the Wifey is ready to kill me as she thinks it is some how my fault. I wasn't even home. I checked the history and there was no conflict, plus it is number one in the prioretizer. It says cancelled in my history also. Any one have any Idea as to what happened so I can make sure it doesn't happen again???
what channel do you guys record House from? I have a season pass (or whatever the HR20 calls it) from 32-1 FOX Chicago OTA. If it didn't record, I'm going to be pretty cranky
What receiver? R15? HR20? Could there have been a problem at the local affiliate or between the affiliate and DirecTV?
I had the same problem with Criminal Minds from last week, and unlike House, i can't catch a repeat on USA. When i looked at the history, it shows that it was cancelled due to an internal error.
Please make sure you post your info in the thread over in the CE forum.
How full is your disk?
mine recorded fine via OTA Fox5 NYC (fyi, i'm on the latest CE release).
I had this same problem with House not recording during the past two weeks, but it recorded fine last night.
It was an HR20-700. My eSATA is about half full. It was set to record on L.A. local 11 (D* version, not OTA). I've had no problems with other shows.
Make sure in your Prioritizer that there isn't a conflict with another show running over. There are only 2 available tuners at any given time.
I got overly enthusiastic with all these new HD shows that I tried to record 3 at the same time. The HR20-100 and 700 will not stop you from setting a Series Link, but whichever shows have the higher priority, those are the 2 that will record.
There is a problem that is being tracked over in the CE forum. Lots of us have error (3) problems where the show is cancelled for no apperent reason.
I'm not a DirecTV customer (I have fios), but we had breakups with House last night. About 1/3 of the way through it had periodic breakups, freezing, and the like. It began to ease off most of the way through the show. Apparently it was a Fox network problem (a coworker who has Comcast had the same problem). I wonder if that caused you guys to have problems with the recording last night. Just a thought.
