added an oat module today and did the scan, most of the epg data is incomplete, how long does it usually take to download? Can it be forced ?

At the latest - when it does it's reboot tonight. You might try forcing by doing a check switch.

The Over The Air (OTA) not OAT module will probably have many channels that have no information. DISH uses DIGITAL SERVICE as a description on many subchannels and provides no information.

The -01 channel data should be there the next day (sometimes sooner). DISH provides OTA channel data for channels they carry via satellite and some additional sub-channels. Find your market in this list and it will give you an idea of what DISH provides. (If you receive channels OTA from a neighboring market you should also receive the EPG if that station is on the list.)

For example, in my market (South Bend, Indiana) DISH makes the following OTA EPG available:
    OTA Program Guide Data:
    16-01 WNDU TSID 0x0479, Subchannel 01 (DISH Channel 5192/7092)
    16-02 WNDU2 TSID 0x0479, Subchannel 02 (DISH Channel 14865)
    22-01 WSBT TSID 0x047B, Subchannel 01 (DISH Channel 5191/7091)
    22-02 WSBT2 TSID 0x047B, Subchannel 02 (DISH Channel 5193/7093)
    22-03 WSBT3 TSID 0x047B, Subchannel 03 (DISH Channel 14867)
    25-01 WCWW TSID 0x0D95, Subchannel 01 (DISH Channel 7094)
    25-01 WCWW TSID 0x0D95, Subchannel 01 (DISH Channel 15932)
    25-02 WCWW2 TSID 0x0D95, Subchannel 02 (DISH Channel 15400)
    34-01 WNIT TSID 0x047D, Subchannel 01 (DISH Channel 5194/7096)
    34-02 WNIT2 TSID 0x047D, Subchannel 02 (DISH Channel 14388)
    46-01 WHME TSID 0x047F, Subchannel 01 (DISH Channel 7097)
    46-02 WHME2 TSID 0x047F, Subchannel 02 (DISH Channel 14775)
    57-01 WBND TSID 0x0D93, Subchannel 01 (DISH Channel 5190)
    57-01 WBND TSID 0x0D93, Subchannel 01 (DISH Channel 15931)
    69-01 WMYS TSID 0x0D97, Subchannel 01 (DISH Channel 5197)
    69-01 WMYS TSID 0x0D97, Subchannel 01 (DISH Channel 15933)

Channels not in this list include 460-03 which shows up as "WHME-D" in my guide, 57-02 "MeTV", 57-03 "Movies", 69-02 "TELMND" and 69-03 "DECADE". 28-01 and 28-02 also show up in my guide as "WSJVH&" ... this is a former Fox affiliate that airs "Heroes and Villains" but is not carried by DISH via satellite.

Check your own market on the list to see what you should expect.

Do you get the ABC & NBC affiliates via a translator (I.e. extra channel placed to expand their coverage area)? If so, Dish may not have the data associated with the translator. You could call them and complain.

In my area, I get Maryland Public Television OTA on Ch. 67 and they carry the guide for Ch. 22, which carries the same exact MPT programming. I don’t get the EPG for Ch. 67. I wish they could map it, because I would like to record things on Ch. 67.

They probably could map it, they have just chosen not to do so in your case. Here in Mansfield, Ohio, I receive PBS OTA from a local translator of WOSU Columbus, and the correct guide data does show up in the Dish EPG for the first three subchannels (-1, -2, and -3). Dish has never carried the guide data for the -4 subchannel, neither here nor in Columbus.

Every EPG they deliver costs space on the satellite in the EPG feed.
DISH's EPG currently contains 5905 channel entries, 1038 are for OTA sub channels. (Stations carried via satellite do not count against that 1038.)

Translators pose a special problem if they are not broadcasting the same TSID as the main transmitter. Stations that cover a relatively small area (relative to the entire US coverage of DISH network). It is easy for me to understand why not every EPG is carried.
