Yea me neither since the 24HR stupid rule!
when i was with directv i only ordered ppv when D* sent me a coupon for a free movie,I think in the 16 years i was with D* i only paid for 1 ppv ,that movie was mr.& mrs. smith, and i only paid for that because my wife is a big fan of brad pitt and of course how could i resist angelina jolie!
Well I did say events as opposed to movies but it's all good.
I don't think I have ever spent any money on PPV and I don't plan to start now.
Maybe a couple of times when I first started my account back in 1995, but since then the value of PPV events and movies doesn't work for me. So nothing since. I do not do anything PPV and even block out all the shopping channels.
Been with DirecTV since 1995. Ordered less than 10 movies or events.
Have never bought an event. Unless a single day subscription to NFL counts as an event -- did that once when my brother was visiting and we HAD to see our Steelers.
When I first started in 1997 we used to buy a PPV movie once in a while, but not since subscribing to Netflix in 2000.
Couple times a year, group of buddies gets together for a UFC fight
I do not, however I did get the last UFC during the 4th. We had company and they wanted to see it and gave me the money to pay for it. This is the how I do PPV. FREE
Never. There's somebody who does watch UFC who told me the go-go bar 3 doors down from our building has a good deal for those kind of events.
I've bought every UFC event since 2007
In nearly 16 years as s DirecTV customer, I have never ordered a PPV event.
Never. I want a fixed bill, same amount each month.
Actually I consider D* to be "PPV" and if what I want isn't there then I don't need it. Used to go to BlockBuster once in a while for a movie but now they are gone and I refuse to stick my card in a "Red Box" located in the breeze way of WM.
We have the movie channels so we rarely get PPV.
Every once in a while I'll want something in 1080p (for no other reason then I can ) and then I'll get a PPV.
I would have to say a couple of times a year.
D* PPV never -- overpriced and you only get 24 hours. Amazon VOD quite a bit. That $1 cheaper per HD movie is a bargain. Sometimes it's even $2-3 cheaper on Amazon and many movies you get for 48 hours.
UFC 3-5 times
Maybe ten years ago I bought a fight. I can't remember now who it was or even why, but I did.
