There was a day when I could go to the DTV website and compare all the channels available for each program package. Now it seems to only show a comparison of some of the channels whether choosing the "most popular" or the "A-Z" option.

Does anyone know of a way I can do a complete comparison on-line? I want to consider changing my program package but I would like to know what I want before I call.

Thank you, I tried that link in 2 different browsers and it comes up with headings and rows but without any channel content showing. Not sure what the problem is. Don't get any error messages.

Go to the DIRECTV website. Scroll down to the bottom of the home page. Look for Explore DIRECTV. Below that you will see DIRECTV Packages. Click on that. A comparison chart should appear.

I'm on a Mac. In Firefox, Safari, and Chrome it brings me to a page where I have to enter my zip code to see the package comparison page.

Try this one. It is the page for New York City but you can change the zip at the top if you can actually get to it.

I notice on the DirecTV page they list the Premier package for $110 per month while on the AT&T site it lists for $189 per month.

Exactly what I see, it doesn't show all the channels. Tried to search for NBCsn and it brings up CNBC. WTF??

I get that then the page locks up and I can't navigate thru it. This is an ATT site, not a D* site. Nobody with an ATT account is gonna be able to access the old D* website, I think.

Try to click the "Change" link and enter your zip code. Does it display then?

I can see the comparison chart on both the AT&T and D* site. As I mentioned previously they have different prices.

The page is very slow loading on my browsers - faster on Firefox than on IE. There is a lot of scripting involved.

    Mine comes up.
Try deleting the cookies for DirecTV and AT&T. Then try it.

The att.com site loads slowly for everything. It feels like browsing back in the days of dialup.:(

Today, I was able to pull up a change of service screen on the ATT/DTV web page. It shows the different packages available and has a link for "compare channel lineups". When I click that link it tells me that "DirectTV service isn't available within this zip code". Of course the zip code is correct, the same one on my account shown in various places on other screens. The tragic comedy that is AT&T continues.

Question though, if I change my package does that cause my contract to be renewed for 24 months? I am currently out of contract.

I haven't changed the package since AT&T bought them but it never did renew the contract before. With AT&T anything is possible though.
