What are the signals on the 99c and 103ca and 103cb SATs?

This live or recorded?.... My HR34 is pixelating on almost every recorded show which again, this now the 3rd unit more than likely as all the rest a bad hard drive... DTV will deny, blame it on everything under the sun except for there unit... yet each replacement it ends... They never can assimilate that info as plausible, it takes a threat to cancel and I even have there protection plan... They are something over there ill tell ya that. Anyways, if live and all looks good and recording doesnt, HD.....Otherwise try its best friend the "RBR" and see if that helps. Good luck.

Have you checked any connections that are outside? Look for corrosion inside the connectors.

Does it do it on all channels? Both HD and SD? Do you have a client, does it see the same problems?

Try selecting one of the transponders on 99c and one on 103ca and look at it individually on the signal meters screen. You should see pretty steady numbers, maybe going up or down 1 or 2 once in a while. If it is jumping around a lot by more than a few points, your LNB may be bad. When mine was going I would show good numbers on the signal strength screen, I could only see the problem when selecting one in the signal meters.

When I first pulled up the signal meter screen it show not acquired for both 99c and 103ca for about 1 minute then it popped up to 95 and back to nothing. It did that about 4 times and now it been running about 4 mins and has a steady 96. Dish just installed about 4 months. Thanks Michael

Recently, I routed my Power Inserter through a splitter so I could add a RVU client to the same TV my HR 34 is connected to. Within a few minutes, another receiver started getting SWiM errors, 771 errors, and then it would be fine. That receiver is not even on the same leg as the HR34. So it made no sense. But after I tightened up all the connections on the splitter, I never got the error again.

If you have any splitters, make sure you check them all.
