I called DTV early this morning to troubleshoot power issues I have been having with my HR-34. Result was they are sending me a replacement via FedEx and DTV rep said it would most likely be the same receiver. Does anybody have any input as to which receiver I will be sent? She said they could send an HR-44 as my upgrade and renew my contract for 2 years. I told her I didn't want to extend as I didn't feel it was necessary. Is there a possibility I could get lucky and get an HR-44 as replacement?

hr44 is not considered an upgrade

you will more than likely get a 34, even hsp is installing refurbed 34 on new accounts now.

if you had a tech replace it you might get a 44 if thats all that was on truck

I just called in and said my dish fell off the roof, had my friend pull my SC forward and replace my 34 with a 44, once i added a client i couldnt stand the slowness of my 34, there was nothing wrong with the 34, just slow. New 44 works awesome with client, which is still a c31

Most likely you'll get an HR34.

There is no rhyme or reason on how DirecTV sends replacements receivers, but "history" tells us you will get an HR34
