I am still getting the "Can't play if digital audio output exists and audio driver cannot apply SCMS." message on some HD programs.

Is anyone else still having this problem or is it just me?

I am going to start a list this week of what HD programs I get this on and what ones I don't. I can't figure out why some work and some don't. So maybe a little data collection would help DIRECTV.

    Works:
    1) Knight Rider / NBC HD(11 WBAL Baltimore) / plays but very choppy.
    2) The Perfect Storm / TNT HD (245) / plays but very choppy.
    3) Flawless / HDNet Movies HD (78) / plays fine.
    4) Flip That House / TLC HD (280) / plays fine.

Don't work (I get that message):
    2) Lost / ABC HD(2 WMAR Baltimore)

I will keep adding to this list as I test HD programs. All SD programs have worked fine so far.

So, there are 7 who got the push, and there must be about 7 who didn't? Or, did 6 not vote yet (like me).

Didn't vote because I didn't get it yet.

Mike, I'm seeing that as well.

May I suggest a guideline... if the problem happens on the computer screen, I would suggest reporting it in the PC software thread. If it happens on the TV screen, I'd report it here.

Sounds good. When I get a chance hopefully later today after work and opening day I will do some more testing and move it over there.

Since I didn't receive the push this weekend, I don't think comments on the new software release will be valid. I'll still test, but save any issues to retest on the next push.

    Not an issue:

I watched Dancing with the Stars "LIIIIVE!!!!" last night starting about 10 minutes behind. Despite getting to full-on live and then pausing again several times, I did not have one audio drop, not one. I don't watch a lot of live TV so I don't know when this bug was squashed but WELL DONE!!!

Watching "The Daily Show" live on Comedy Central at 8:20PT. Just for fun I pushed the FORMAT button, as I hadn't done it in a while.

    Super Crop is back.

Last night I fell asleep watching Channel 11 SD. This was around midnight. When I woke up around 4am I could hear sound. But, the screen saver was on the TV. I changed the channel and everything seem to be fine. I have never seen the screen saver come on, on a regular channel. Just the music channels.

Opening the guide is taking twice as long as any of my other receivers. Once in the guide, it operates normal.

Exiting the guide also is taking twice as long.

Recorded "House Hunters 2108" from 1229 HGTV. Although the program recorded completely successfully, the title of the program had a (X) orange conflict indicator after its title in the info screen when viewed from the playlist.

On the HR20-700 I can't see photos through Tversity. I CAN see them on my HR21-700/AM21 with Tversity. I, of course, don't know if it has anything to do with what we are testing, but I thought I'd mention it.

The receiver was dead tonight. I came home and tried to turn it on and it would not power up. It would not respond to the remote or to pressing the power button on the front of the HR20. I did a RBR and it took over a minute before I could tell that it was resetting. It seems to be working fine after the reboot.

Just for the heck of it I checked the history to see if any of them got skipped. There was a bunch of recording scheduled for last night. On everyone of them there was two entries. The first one had a status of Canceled and the reason "This episode was canceled by the viewer. (1/0/)" But the 2nd entry said it recorded. I did not cancel any of these because I was not even awake during these recordings.

Recorded "House Hunters 2107" from 1229 HGTV-VOD. Initially, playback was completely black. However, 1/2 hour later went into the same recording and it was fine. (Ironically, Mrs. Shadow had already seen it :) )
