The time for the HR21-200's public unveiling is comming soon.

So those of you that have an HR21-200... team up and work on the first look.
It doesn't have to be as extensive as the HR21-700 as on the software level it is very much the same thing...

But it is a tradition of DBSTalk to have a "first look" at a new model of the receivers...

You are on your own on how you want to do it....
PM me or one of the mod's or one of the HR21-700 guys to help you out with the details of the first look.

I reserve the right (as basically the editor) to change anything in the final review though.. :)

I'm here to help. I authored the H21's First Look, and would be more than happy to jump in if no one else cares to, though I like the idea of using different "voices" for every review.

Personally I think it should be a more casual sort of review, owing to the fact that the exterior and operation are so similar to HR21-700.

Let me know what I can do as well to be of assistance. I'll have to add the -200 soon (I think, I'll have to go back to confirm) to the DVR comparison chart.

Please let me know what I can do. But this is a very bad week for me with work. When you work in retail it always sucks this time of year so if someone could just PM with anything that needs to be done just in case I don't see a post in this thread I would appreciate it.

I'd be glad to help on it, if you want to take the lead.

I know how to use spell check and everything. :D

When I worked with Drew2K on the -700 one, it was actually fun work. Don't get me wrong, its work....but it is fun too.

So if you want to do it, just PM me, and we'll team up.

Great - if HDTVSportfan decides to team up on this, they will be very welcome indeed. I still have the old TORX, but would just as soon not do surgery on the -200. I had enough experience with that on the -700.

Sorry, I used to cut English class all the time [for a good reason & why I try to help on the tech side].
I could "proof read" if that's any help. :)

Well .. a collaborative effort might be a good spin .. perhaps if folks can just start writing (kind of a ad-hoc brainstorming method) and then we can pull the pieces into a more coherent document. That would give those who want to contribute a chance and those who want to critique a chance as well :)

I'll be happy to do proof-reading and other editing. If someone needs a section written I could handle that as well I guess.
