The problem with black scenes that I documented with the video in the last release is still around.

Also, trick play on OTA takes a very long time to react. The lights on the receiver respond quickly, but the video takes a while to respond.

    The...
I thought it asked if you wanted to download now or wait? That is what threw me off about getting a new push.I believe on the last push it prompted you to make a choice. Is that wrong. I know I didn't get the prompt this time. Now I know why my box reset. Duh.I was watching something with the wife and my box reset. I had checked earlier in the evening for a new version and I didn't have it yet. I forgot to check after the reset. Stupid me thought I had hit the wrong button.

Issues: (1) No caller ID. (2) The same issue I had before with the picture in the PIG is not what is pulled up in the guide. I have to exit out of the guide and go back in and than maybe 50% of the time the guide will match the PIG. (3) The info banner is slow to show the proper channel info that you have just changed to.

I just want to note that without any signs of video breakup, some of the channels that report pegged 77% signals, exhibit little audio pops/clicks (maybe it's a quick drop), not regularly and it's very quick (fraction of a second) but obviously noticeable. BTW, I have dolby on.

Oh, trickplay does seem better on the OTA recordings - still some suggishness at times in responding to the remote, but not as bad as the prior version - at least based on my limited observations so far.

Last night, I had the audio go out a couple of times watching live satellite locals - standard definition (DN4 - KCNC). A channel change brought back the audio.

So tonight I get home and the hr21 is on. I know I turned it off this morning, but ok lets see. There is no pic. at all. When you hit the info button it works, except for there is no software information at all under info. No past upgrade info or anything. RBR is bringing it back up it apprears. This is the first time since we started my unit had no pic or sound for that matter. Now during reboot stuck st 74%. I will rbr again and see what happens.

2nd rbr fixed it. It's back up and running. All systems are running normally. but the guide only loaded to 94%. I guess it will get the rest as we go.

Still noticing audio and video stuttering when watching live. Tonight it was on KDVR SD and KDVR-DT OTA 31-1. Same issue with KRMA-DT OTA 6-1.

Pausing for a few seconds and playing back delayed fixes the problem.

Got home a bit before 10pm and turned the HR21 on. It was on 631 as I had tried to record the Hornets game (unfortunately, DirecTV didn't lift the blackout as they should have so all I get is searching for authorized content, but that's a different problem) and was also recording SciFi ch 244. I entered 4-1 and when it tuned, there was no audio, had to change channels to get audio.

Earl posted that this release is supposed to be "close" to the CE releases, so I'm reporting an issue with how the HR21 properties are reported to Windows:

My HR21 is networked but is not showing the same properties in Windows Media Sharing that it's brethren, the HR20, are showing.

The HR20 has the presentation URL, a unique ID, a serial number, etc. The HR21 only has the MAC address displayed in the properties.

I have had a few extend power outages this week. Which will account for all my units reboots.

On screen guide data loads from O% complete to 100% complete. On both of my hr20's after a restart it shows the data. 10% complete etc.... all the way to 100% and they usually say " rebuliding scheduler list " after the guid data is downloaded. Then they go to live TV. Last night on the second reboot it got to 94% complete. Then stopped. It still showd 94% complete. Then went to live TV. This morning it worked ok on my local news. I know I turned it to stand by when I left. So when I get home i'll see where it's at.

Had audio go out again while watching 4-1. I had tuned from ch. 6 to 4-1 this morning a bit after 6am and by 6:20 there was no audio, only the live picture playing. A channel change fixed the problem. I wasn't in the room when it happened.

I don't want to jinx it but so far so good from what I can tell. Watched a few shows via my antenna and trickplay was working fine.

This may not be unique to us as both of my HR20s a re pingable, but this HR21 and my other HR21 are not.

It's not loading guide data when it's doing that. It's loading the channel mappings.

Ok good to know. It still didn't load that correctly then. I went last night and restarted my hr20. It did load to a full 100%.

I have a feeling that it loaded everything correctly, but it just didn't display it on screen.
