HR24/100 constantly freezes requires restart

    My HR24/100 is constantly freezing up. Usually while watching the DVR. It will freeze, then if I rewind, or fast forward, then play, it will play for like 5 seconds and then freeze back up.

    It will allow you to do this for 2-3 times, then it will go to a gray screen and completely lock up. No responsiveness at all. Have to push the red restart button.

    It's been doing this constantly now for the past 3 days.

    Should I get it replaced?

    Not yet, I was hoping I'd just need to update the firmware.

    Give them a call and ask to speak with a tech.

    Are you connected to you tv with HDMI? If you are, try unhooking the HDMI cable and hooking up the component cables. Then reboot the receiver through the menu if possible while the HDMI is unhooked. This may help you for the time until the next FW update.

    Let us know if this helps. Also as said before, make sure you report the issue.
