HR24-100 / H24-700 {CE:01:03} 0x3B8 - Discussion

    I thought it was purple-ish. :D Anyhow, I'm only seeing that when I'm at the "blue screens" during bootup FWIW.

    What does the active button give you? Mine never filled in. I was going to check my other receivers to see if it even works before sending a report.

    To anyone with the H24:

    Are you having any issues? I haven't seen anyone else post any either, I feel like I am not contributing, but I have no issues. I watched TV for a couple hours last night and the only think I noticed is that the active screen never filled in. Does yours?

    Our H24 is in the kitchen and we've averaged a single MRV'd show a day on it for the first couple of weeks, along with some LIVE TV. So far, it's worked flawlessly... knock on wood! :)

    We are using ours pretty heavily and don't have any issues at all. MRV is not perfect, but than again I am using a PowerLine adapter on it and overall works very well. Hoping that in mid-May, I will be able to get a DECA setup.

    I have seen a minor HDMI handshaking issue maybe twice since I have had it. Just shows a slighly dimmer and out of focus picture. Putting the unit in standby or cycling power on the TV clears it right up. Impossible to duplicate and without moving a few receivers around I can't even confirm it is the H24.

    Ours is connected component and L/R audio to a Samsung LCD, so no opportunity to see if there are HDMI problems.

    Our HR24-100 is the main box in our house now. It has been working terrific for us and has enabled me to be able to watch my shows (now upstairs on the R22) while downstairs and vice versa without issue. The HR24 is hooked via component as my TV doesn't have HDMI.

    I am really hopeful that tonight's CE solves a whole lot of our issues. They've had two weeks to work on it, so I have high hopes for it.

    Even though I have been lucky to avoid most of the black screen/no audio issues with trick play, I do hope this 2 week break between ce's has given the engineers time to find and solve the problem.
