Got the push last night around 12:30 AM. Everything is still working fine so far. While I still see the channel flicker issue, it does not seem to be as prevalent as the first time I reported it. I am still having an issue with TV Apps (in particular one app). Can someone else check it out on theirs and see if they have the same issue?

Issue: TV Apps Issue - My MLB Team
Still having an issue with this app. I have the same app on my R22 and it is working fine. On the HR24, when I select to view the Standings, I get a message that standings will be available during the regular season. I'm fairly certain I am using the main TV Apps site for both receivers.

So far today the HR24-100 is functioning flawlessly. MRV is clean and tp is not causing any lockups or pauses. Apps work and network test gives me a nice OK.

I have to admit, the H24-700 is flawless except for them kicking me of my wired network . So far today, it's fine..
Will know with time if it will stay connected or not.

So far today after 5 hours of testing:

    1) System Test passes
    2) Internet Connection passes
    3) Network Services passes
    4) Using HR24 as server and client for 2 1/2 hours of WHDS viewing smooth as silk
    5) 2 scheduled recordings done perfectly, including 1 minute extensions as a test
    6) All Sat, SWiM/DECA, and Coax signal levels - solid readings as ever

Sound like a dream receiver there. Flawless testing, D* can't ask for more than that. But, as testers, a little excitement wouldn't hurt.

So far, so good....I always hold my full enthusiasm until at least a week or so of testing gets done. But day one seems mighty fine so far.

Naw, that was gravy. If you believe that, I got a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell ya.
I gotta admit, I was starting to get a little nervous 'til, Monday , when we got the patch d/l! I wuz running out of disk space, as well as many others.
Question is, what will happen next?

Halleluyah! For the first time since I received the HR24-100 MRV seems to be working flawlessly. I've used it all day as a client being served by each of my other three receivers. No freezes, no TP problems.

FInally, I can use this unit!

Anyone else noticing a lag when pulling up or clearing the PlayList? I have a 3.5 second delay after hitting List before it shows up and when clearing it, all text disappear, but the blue background remains for 3.5 seconds. Previously, hitting a button would instantly bring up the list or clear it.

    Dripping...
I've seen this issue on my HR24-500 for months, a reboot will clear it up and you might not see it again until you reboot again for the next CE.

got the push but due to power outages (vehicle accidents) and t-storms have not had a chance to really mess with it. so far reports are very encouraging.

I'll give that a try. Was just too lazy to reboot this time. I thought it lasted until the next push the last time I had it.

Can someone try the TVApp I am having an issue with?

Also, what is the keyword for the CE TVApps site? I'd like to give that one a try and see if there is a difference.

That's great news. I think the key issue that would keep the 24-100 from going live would be the HDMI compatibility problem that you, Alan, Herdfan, Scott and others have been having. If this CE can put those handshaking issues to bed once and for all, I think this box's performance is about as good as any other nationally-released HR. I hate to jinx myself, but connected to Panasonic displays, ours has been working flawlessly for at least 6 weeks, and we use it a lot.

yup, the hdmi issue was a *****.
I will know more in a bit as we are using this as primary today to check it.

I wonder why this ce didn't 1) make room in the guide for posters and 2) change the label from 'multi-room' to 'whole home' like the other CEs did hor HRs a few weeks back.

IIRC correctly, "multi-room" to "whole home" was an 0x03EB change for the HR20-23's, and we're not there yet on the HR24-100's. Probably the same with posters.
