Not sure if this is an issue, but wanted to put it here too. My H24-700 currently offers DoublePlay when I push the down arrow while watching a show. It doesn't work, but the channel bar goes to channel 1, while the show I was on continues playing.

I'm in a non-SWM setup with this one and I don't think a non-dvr can handle doubleplay. Might want to take it out of the possibilities.

It is 7:17pm and I have local CBS on, unfortunately watching Duke win. I hit info to see what time it is and it shows 7:17pm. However, the info bar is wrong. It shows Motorcycle Racing from 12p-1p. IIRC, I changed the channel in that 12p hour before I left for a bit. I put the receiver in standby and when I got back around 2 and turned it back on then. I didn't notice until now that the info bar was wrong.

Switching channels and coming back fixes the info bar data.

    Report: 20100329-2832

Issue: No system sounds. I realized this late last night after I switched over to my H24-100, which has the sounds. I went into the menu and made sure they were turned on (in fact they were on the loudest volume).

Will submit report this evening when I get home... didn't have time last night. Edit: added above.

    HR24-100
    Report 20100329-32D4

Unit was hard locked in standby (looked dead). Would not respond to remote or front panel. Had to RBR to bring it back to life. There was a very long pause between the RBR and any activity. Long enough for me to think it was dead. When it finally started to do something, reboot was normal. However once it rebooted, I was presented with the "New update screen" talking about tvmail, etc. The report also took an unusally long time as well. Took multiple tries for the report to go through. Multiple failures with error 3.

    Update:

On a whim I turned off Dolby Digital and the sounds are back. Always worked fine on my HR21-100. AVR recognizes the DD when I turn it on in the HR24 menu.

This was the case with the HR24-500 too until the updated software arrived.

    Receiver: HR24-100 first release

Recorded LOST and V tonight, and put LOST on pause for about 45 minutes while it was airing live. I added V during this pause.
I resumed watching LOST before the recording was finished, and watched ti to the end.

At that point, V continued playing, without being brought up from the playlist--just a continuous play. I was unable to get the playback to stop using the STOP button...no matter how many times I tried!

All other menu related functions continued to operate normally, and the guide was also accessible. But I had to watch V to its' conclusion, instead of coming back to it later, as I had planned to do.

EDIT: When the HR24 finished playing V, it then went straight into local news, which was long over by then! I had to do a menu reset to be able to get back to live programming!

Issue happened last night, HDDVR turned itself off while watching TV. After turning it back on there was a 45 second - 1 minute lag before it would respond to any commands from the remote.

Had some interesting problems with my h24-700 today. I was watching something on HDN channel 79 before the channel moved a couple of days ago then turned off the box as usual when I was done. Today when I turned the box on I had a gray screen and a error about a program black out so I tried to change the channel but it would not let me. After multiple faild attempts to change the channel I decided to push the little red button. When the box rebooted it would not read any sat signal even after reconfiguring setup so I then pulled the power plug but that did not work ether. The only thing that seemed to fix the problem was a reset everything from the menu. When I chose reset everything the box went to a screen that told me it was formatting the storage device and it took a long time for a box that dose not even have a hard drive but at least it works now.:eek2:

    HR24-100

    Diagnostic Report ID: 20100403-B0F

I was having problems with one of my DVR on CE tonight and Tom was helping me trace the problem down. I power cycled my SWM, DECA and all DVR's connected to the SWM. When I power cycled my HR24-100 it came back up and said: Receiver identification problem. Call customer Service 726. I rebooted several times and tried refreshing service on the web site and it did not correct the problem. So, right now my HR24-100 is not able to get any programming. :(

I will leave this DVR unplugged all night and try to refresh services in the morning and see what happens.

 Well................ It was late and I had not had a chance to check this thread. I guess Tom didn't know about it either. He helped me trouble shoot it for about an half hour last night. I guess I might get the new one Monday. :D

    Lower...
Just realized I received the H24-700 push a couple of hours ago. No issues setting up MRV at all. It immediately saw my four HR20-700 servers. (I'm cat5, BTW).

First show I watched remotely was MPEG-4, and trickplay was very snappy, even with an HR20 serving the content. It's a definite improvement over the H21-200 I replaced with this box.

Oh yea, I forgot to hookup the mrv? Glad you said that. I wasn't using the 24 til the new d/l came, which at the popular 3:19 it showed up without even knocking? That's ok, I'm glad he came in when he did...
