    Folks,

Just an FYI .. If you received an HR24-100, it will be swapped out in the next few days. I don't have all of the details on how the swap will take place, but in essence, you will be sent a new HR24-100 and you will send back the HR24-100 that you currently have. When I have more details I will let you know. As of right now, this is a just a heads up.

I want my money back! This is a disgrace, I just can't believe this could happen to me! I'm calling retention!

Oh wait, sorry, forgot this is a field trial and I'm not an entitlement troll from the main forums. Carry on, and bring on the new box.

Excuse me sir. This is off topic. We have a thread dedicated to congratulatory posts found here -> http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?t=147979

If you violate the rules again, DirecTV will take back all of your equipment, and send you ViP-722 boxes to test.

    :D:lol:

Good thing I have not had time to set mine up yet... Would've wasted a lot of energy then... So, I guess that serial port was not supposed to be there, huh?

    Dripping...
So is this because of the serial ports on the -100's that aren't supposed to be there on the production units?

I suggest that they let us keep these existing HR24-100's and send us a new one without the port, and allow us to keep both.

I think that is the best idea ever. :)
