Right now the H24-200 is unusable for me since it will not do mrv. Hope that we get the first push for these units this week.

Hmmm. H24-200 here has been fine with MRV since install. Since it's in the Kitchen, it's been mostly accessing the family NR HR20's.

Sixto, it was running great after set up, but Saturday morning I came into the kitchen and found the front panel lights on and the unit was sending nothing to the TV and would not respond to any remote or front panel commands. An rbr got the unit back running. Then to get it to recognize network, I had to rerun network set up. Now it is connected to my DECA and I have verified this by using apps. With all this it is not seeing either of my HR's. Initially it took about 24 hours from set up to being mrv capable, but then did it just fine. I have reset the HR22, but not the HR24 and it still is not seeing either of them. Since I was using it as an mrv client with my other units, not having mrv makes it unusable at this point. It does everything else a receiver should do just fine.

    Report: 20100614-2E53

    Three issues.

    1. After watching a show recorded late last night and after deleting the program I did view the live programming on that particular channel. During the playback of the pre-recorded show I did use 30-second slip and skip back. I had no issues during the viewing of that programming. However, when I switched channels the new channel came in completely devoid of any picture or sound. I tried a few other channels via the remote but I would get neither picture or sound.

    2. After sending the report I attempted to do a menu restart and the HR24-200 accepted the command, went to the blue screen just prior to the actual restart, and stayed there. I did a RBR, which did not work.

    3. After the RBR I got a message "Acquiring Guide Data" and the "More Info" box said if that did not clear within two minutes to reset. The menu reset option was unavailable so I hit the RBR button. Being the second RBR within 30 minutes that has flushed the Guide data. The HR24-200 has now come back up.

While performing the RBR in Item #2 I did confirm that I am receiving programming on my HR22-100. The DVR appears to be fine.

My H24-200 keeps dropping the mrv connections with my two HR24's and HR20. It usually only drops one, but today, it dropped all three mrv connections. After rebooting the H24-200, it can see 2 of 3 other dvrs.

I paused a show that was recording. When I tried to atart playing it again, the unit completely locked up and I had to rbr. When it came back up the recording was gone.

I have an issue. I have nothing to report. :D I feel bad that I have this nice shiny box to test and it works so well, it makes my wife want to replace all the rest of our receivers. Not even a new CE to download yet.

It did drop the MRV connection to one of the other boxes once , but a reboot fixed it and it is not any different than the other boxes, which all do it from time to time.

no report, it was in the middle of the night and I forgot :)

Black screen coming out of standby. After pressing the {RES} button on the front panel a few times, it came back but then going into the menu the wrong background was showing. I rebooted for good measure.

Last night I was watching a HD recorded program, and the receiver froze completely, requiring an RBR. I had not touched the remote or done anything for at least 5 minutes. I was having no pixelations or audio dropout or anything else abnormal, but the video just stopped and froze, and the receiver wouldn't take any commands.
After RBRing, I started the same program, and it started from the beginning (it froze ~15 minutes in). I fast-forwarded past the point where it froze, and it played the rest just fine.

I'm not able to submit a report, as I don't currently have my DECA network on my home network.

    Report #: 20100615-282E

Unable to playback recordings from any DVR (it seems to be a problem with the DVRs but...) I tired to play recordings that I played on this box this morning and ones I haven't both types fail to play. I get a quick message about failed to receive audio/video packets then one about the clients access card it missing or invalid or something like that.

We all are just having too much fun with the initial firmware on the -200s that D* wants us to play some more.

Yet another lockup this morning. Looking forward to a push so I can tell if it's the firmware or another issue.

Brought the receiver out of standby and there was no audio or video. Changing channels and switching tuners didn't help. A menu reset restored service.

Unit is in a strange mode. Tuesday morning I found the unit with the screensaver up. I ended up RBRing to regain control. Since I have two boxes in the same room this one was set for ID 2 but this changed back to 1 somewhere in the whole process.

After the reboot I had to do the full setup procedure which stalled at the activation screen. Online refresh did nothing and a request emailed by a mod to DTV so far hasn't produced results.

Now, the strange part. Even in this semi-setup state I saw the record light come on and one of my SLs started recording. Using MRV I could see the recording and some old recordings. The box's name changed to a six digit number.

I'm going to unplug the box later this evening for an hour or so and see if that clears some gremlins.

That is strange enough that it made me go check my HR24-200. I do NOT have that problem, but decided to check anyway.

When I brought the unit out of standby, there was no audio or video nor would it respond to any remote or front panel commands. Consequently, the report was issued after the rbr.
