i've had this hr24-500 for about a month and have had it freeze up a couple of times and have had to reboot it. i was told a newer software was being tested and have been waiting to see if this will correct a few bugs with this reciever. is newer software being tested? if not will call dtv to replace/exchange it. otherwise been happy with it. much faster then anyone i've had. been a customer with dtv since 1996 so i do get good service from dtv when i call to complain about anything.
