I would love to have the ability to tell one of my HR's to record something via one of my HR's, just like we do with our H24's.

    Choctaw, OK
That, and also the ability to access a unified To Do List. :)

I will give a couple examples of why this is a good thing:

Being able to record a "parent approved" program to a kids DVR, from any DVR in my home.

Being able to record a movie to my HR with the eSata attached. (being able to select "keep or delete" remotely even better)

Most DirecTV "power users" will have more DVRs than standard receivers, so it's a win to have that non-DVR function at hand.

I'd be happy if it just asked which dvr to record it on (like the Hs do) when there is a conflict instead of the "cancel 1/2" message.

    That would be very sweet.

Another thing, backing up the Prioritizer/Series Link list to a USB drive. That would be sweet for migrating to new receivers (like when one needs to be replaced/repaired) or transferring between receivers.

i would like to see the ability of the H24 to have access to the to-do list on all network DVRs. not just "auto-tune" to do list.

Any time there is a conflict, it should offer up another option to record on a remote unit.. It also should allow you to select another unit to record from if you choose select and then record and put it in the options... right after extend recording time...

While we are building the wish list, the H24 should light up like the HR24.. the arrows, and the rings around all the buttons....

I wish the record light on the HR24 was brighter or bigger. I can barely see if it is on.

I actually like the dimmer lights on the HR24 myself Bob. It's taken a bit to get used to. All I did was take of the sunglasses I had to use in front of my HR20-700. :)

    Bainbridge...
After three years with a HR20-700 (where the record light originally was bright yellow and is now a slightly dimmer orange), I consider that a feature.

I seem to recall that folks did NOT like the bright ones that came on the HR21 series, if they had them in a bedroom or the like. I personally don't ever see mine as I have them in a media closet tucked away, hiding from view. :D Either way is fine with me.

only lights I noticed was that I can't tel what res light is on.. HR20 with silver front and visable holes for the lights is easy to see which res light is on..

I would be satisfied if the blue circle around the recording indicator is turned off when the recording LED lights - this way it would be stand out, as currently the recording LED is very hard to see when it's lit.

I have no idea if this was by design or was a bug, so if it was by design I will post it here as a wishlist suggestion: Update the MRV Status screen to include ALL of the networked receivers, including THIS receiver itself.
