Let us know if that works!
As long as it is her idea (in her mind) then it is all good I even got her to let me put the HR34 on her credit card!
I have that problem with my AV receiver. Blueray to TV with HDMI and then optical from the TV to AV rec. Works great for 5.1 DD and DTS
How about not being forced to use a SWiM16 if you have more than four TVs?
The RVU interface should ultimately be a lot smoother sailing than using WHDS (unless what you want to watch isn't on your HR34).
Alas, most televisions don't pass through >2 channel audio unless it comes from the TV's own tuner.
Who cares what switch is used that's transparent to the customer. Once RVU clients come out you also won't need it.
My Samsung can do this via a setting in the menu but my Sony and Sanyo can't.
How well does PIP work? Easy to switch between windows, etc? Different configuration options?
Works ok, but requires hitting INFO, then right right right right right right, down to turn it on or off, more downs to change configurations. Real cludgy IMHO, right now.
that does kinda suck......maybe 2 yellow buttons should go right to it? or i believe green does nothing at the moment while watching a show
Definitely needs a toggle.
Yellow should just turn it on IMHO.
Or the ability to hit left 2 times instead to ease the macros.
Left?. Honestly, you lost me on that one. Left is back, so what's that going to do for you?
