HS17 - C61K 4K Problem

    For the past several weeks i am unable to view 4K on my setup. Everything formerly worked. The 4K resolution test works as well.

    NOTHING HAS CHANGED since the original installation.
    Now when I go to any 4K channel I get the message that I am viewing in 1080p, the highest resolution possible.

    4K works fine with the built in TV apps, and with other attached peripherals, but not with DTV.

    Any ideas what has happened or how to correct the problem?

    Try changing your HDMI cable? Switch ports?

    Have you checked to make sure that 4K is enabled in the TV resolutions on the C61K? I've had it get unchecked on my client a couple times after software updates.

    In addition to what @RAD said - do a hard restart of your C61K.

    Mine did that almost daily. It was always because the 4K choice on the TV deleted the 4K checked box when I turned off the TV overnight. Check and I bet your 4K box is unchecked.
