I was out last night, did not receive a push for H24-200.
Report # 20100724-1531
I've had the unit powered up over the past two or so hours, and lo and behold, the dreaded restarts have reappeared... Sent report once unit returned to live TV... I fear, that this unit may have a hardware defect..... Just saying...
Report # 20100724-2339
The restarts are continuing. This unit is becoming very tiresome to view TV on, as the numerous restarts make the experience quite a chore....
You know what? I've decided to call it a night on this unit, and continue my TV viewing on another receiver.... That being said, I've turned off the unit.
I'm downloading 0x0401 now via "pull."
received the push at 9:24 PM friday.
Got the push. No problems yet
LOCODUDE, I've seen the same behavior. Seems to toggle on/standby when watching MRV-recorded content, but last night it happened when clicking the previous channel button.
This has been recurring with this HR24-200 and I've sent reports in the past. Will do so again.
Report #20100725 - 19E0
Report # 20100725-2B24
TV screen suddenly went blank, with no audio either. Thought my tv was kaput, as the units front panel was lit. However would not output video or audio. Checked tv was OK. Did RBR on receiver, once it came up, video and audio came back.
Mine happens, with just watching tv normally, no trick-play, no handling of the remote, or anything out of the ordinary...
H24-200 pushed on Friday night around 11:15 ET.
Just noticed this afternoon
Report # 20100726-1310
These restarts are driving me crazy...... Unit spontaneous restarts are continuing, making tv watching extremely difficult. I think this unit has a serious defect.
I just had the sixth spontaneous restart in the last 48 hours. It's feeling more and more like a hardware problem.
Spontaneous restarts seem to have no end in sight.... There is absolutely no joy in using this unit at all..
Well given these latest reports form people on it restarting I'm moving my box to a room where it will get more use and see if I can come across it. Is it after an amount of time watching tv that it happens or can it happen within the first 30min-1hr of it being on?
Mine will restart right out of standby. I have found it "on" at least twice after it had been put in standby. Today it restarted while serving program for mrv.
I don't seem to be having the restart issues, but I was having trouble with remote inputs doubling. A menu reboot seemed to fix this.
It's only Tuesday, but so far my H24 has not done a restart since 401 on Friday.
Interestring, we are using the HR24-200 as our primary box downstairs and I have had few if any lockups. I was having the sound drop issue quite a bit with the last SW, but so far it has not happened with the newest CE.
I haven't been able to test very hard this week, but what I have seen so far has been good.
