Another spontaneous reboot while the unit was in standby.

The spontaneous restarts continue. Have turned the unit off, and am now using another receiver to continue watching TV....

This is not a complete fail issue. I was slipping through news programming today and I noticed that when I came out of the slip that resumption of audio trailed resumption of the video by 1-2 seconds. I don't recall that much of a gap in the past. So I submitted a report and am doing a menu reset and then will try again and see if it was my memory that didn't recall seeing this in the past, or whether the menu reset corrected the issue, meaning that an issue was present.

I do run in Dolby Digital, as I have done throughout the testing.

This is a follow-up to my previous message.

My memory was not faulty. After the menu reset the audio was once again effectively immediately audible upon coming out of a 30-second slip. I created and submitted the report identified in this message in case a before and after comparison would be useful.

No further action is being taken on my end because the unit returned to proper operation.

I just had another spontaneous reboot -- this time in the middle of recording a movie on HDNet Movies.

Was there just a push, or is my HR24-200 spontaneously doing something?

Now the issue has escalated.... Unit froze the video on the screen, and then became totally unresponsive. after which it then proceeded to restart on it's own.
Sending report as I type this.....

After having had the unit spontaneously reboot last evening the unit locked audio and video today very soon after I started trying to watch news. There was no more than one or two trick play pushes before the lockup. Menu reset.

While changing channels to see local news I lost audio but video remained on. I verified the receiver was OK, so I believe whatever the problem is in the HR24=200. Menu reset.

The video freeze, then restart issue has been continuos all day. Since I've been home, I have experienced two (2) such occurrences, within the last hour. Really hoping for a fix this W/E...

I have made it to Friday without a restart on the H24 and we are to get a push tonight. This is the first week I have gotten through, so far, without at least one.

I'm happy for you. I've not had such luck though... Watching my unit restart as I type this. Which has been a constant all week for me. Hope the new firmware provides a fix. (Fingers, & toes crossed) :D

. The restarts seem to be coming fast and furious now.... Waiting for the unit to come back up, so I can submit the report..... Sending report now....
