H24 started receiving the push download. Got to 95% then receiver powered down. I used the remote to power the unit up and it had started the download again. I will update the post when the download completes and I get a report number.

    Download completed on second try.

I had to force HR24 to download 0x390. After that had finished, I went to check the H24 and it wouldn't turn on. I did a RBR and it started downloading 0x390.

HR24 software 390 download hung up at 94% and went into standby. Power button on remote restored the unit out of standby. Unit remained at 94% download level for in excess of 10 minutes and then resumed download to completion. Download was very slow before it hung at 94% and went into standby. Just before download continued, I noticed the progress bar that had been dark blue to the 94% level started "rebuilding" with a lighter shade of blue progressing until it got to the full length of the dark blue 94% bar and progress changed from 94% to 96% and then the "rebuilding" process of the light bar started again and it went to 100% upon reaching the previous level.

First off, I screwed up and did a reset and tried to force a push before the forced push came. Fortuantely it did not respond to the 02468 and came back up live. Just got too involved downloading DVRs and lost track of which I was doing.

Then I got the push and it downloaded properly, except the DVR did turn off during the download. I waited about 3 minutes, then pushed the power button on the remote and it came back on immediately. It was at 94% complete at that time.

The download in general seemed to go very slow compared to other DVRs, cut it completed properly and came back to live with no other problems.

I was looking around in the MRV section and accidentally pressed opt out. Once that was complete. I opted back in and it stay on please wait for over 15 mins and the screen saver finally came on. I didn't not loose video or sound. But, the receiver would not respond to any remote commands. So, I did a RBR and that took care of this issue. It now says I am authorized on all DECA connected DVR's.

But, when I hit list there are no recordings showing up. I went into network services and clicked on connect now and it said "unable to start network services (<301>). I then went to advanced setup and selected connect now and everything connected fine and passed. Then after this all DVR's showed up on my list.

I had to force my HR24 too. I waited until I was certain the push would not come (over an hour).

After last week's fiasco, I'm a happy camper. Both HR24-500 and H24-100 received the push successfully. Again, the H24 took an extremely long time to do the download. I would estimate almost half an hour. System test showed no problems and network is still connected on both.

this is the report taken with 38e(forced tonight) just before the 390 download. Posting this here as refernece to last weeks download failure

Unit downloaded software, went into standby sometime after 90% (didnt see exact point). When I brought it out of standby, it was at 33% downloading a second time. Second time was successful.

Unit showed to be Coax Connected, and internet connected using the static IP Ive been using all week, however, it wasnt.
Reset network to defaults, and it showed connected to a bogus IP with no DNS. Rebooted receiver, and it connected ok using DHCP from Linksys router. Internet connected. Network Services connected. TVApps working. MRV working.

    Same problem on all systems

    H24 diagnostic: 20100109-2464

I think it also affected basic network connectivity.

First problem, after the CE download last night I've lost almost all DoD channels, have only 1000, 1090, 1100 and 1999, nothing new with the STB. I don't have this issue with my other HD DVR's running the latest CE code. I have a feeling it's AM21 related (just because how the guide downloads when I have the AM21 on the box) and I'm pulling it off.

Second problem, when tuned to a DBS SD channel and I then tune to a ATSC channel via the AM21 the 16:9 image is squeezed to 4:3. If I tune to a DBS HD channel and then back to the AM21 tuned channel it's back in 16:9. Another reason to just pull the AM21 until I see something in the notes saying it's fixed.

Report screen timed out while I was bringing up the browser so I missed the number and it won't let me generate another one for one hour :(

    Media share issues:
Video plays for 5 seconds with no audio then freezes (two different servers). Most JPEG pictures won't display. The only ones which are displayed are in portrait format (height greater than width). Audio files play fine.

Most of the DoD channel have populated in the guide after 4 1/2 hours vs. only the four listed in post http://www.dbstalk.com/showpost.php?p=2326150&postcount=16 after 11 hours. I generated this report so it might show what the differences are between DoD not populating and Dod populating.
