A Facebook friend who many, many years ago was a member of our Police Explorers in a department I ran shared this performance of "The Sound Of Silence" by Disturbed on Conan last month.

I don't usually recommend music because it is really a matter of taste. And I'm not big on heavy metal bands but my wife and I listened to this and at the end all either of us could say is "Wow!" Simon and Garfunkle would be proud that their song has crossed generations in this performance. Do listen to it all the way through.

Paul Simon loved Disturbed's performance. He tweeted about it too.

Great rendition of an old favorite of mine. Strings always enhance any arrangement.
I got to watch/listen to the Conan version on my big screen with my Roku + Youtube.

    Thanks, Phrelin!
