Hi people, I just found this website a few weeks ago and it's got lots of great info. Anyway, I got excited about all the new HD channels coming and started playing with the HR-20 settings and also the settings on my Panasonic TH-42PX60U. Now I can't get it back to the way it was. :nono2: Before, the SD channels would fill the screen and all 4:3 shows on the HD channels would fill the whole screen. Basically, the only time I saw the black vertical bars was when a commercial would come on while watching a HD show. In addition, all the directv menus, and info was alway displayed properly on the screen (nothing being cut off). I thought I had settings of Native: Off, Screen Format: Stretch, Bar Color: Black, and selected 480p and 720p on the TV Resolutions tab. On the TV, I believe it was set to either FULL, H-FILL, or JUST. I had to go dig out the TV remote from a drawer, so it's not like I was hitting the ASPECT button to make changes while watching TV. And, I forgot what the FORMAT button did on the DIRECTV remote, so again, I wasn't using it. If anyone has any suggestions on fixing this, I'd greatly appreciate them.
