I too, wish more of the HD channels had more HD content. But, D* isn't "taking SD channels and up-converting them". It's being delivered on a different "pipe". If that was what they were doing, D* would simply up-convert every channel and call it HD. D* didn't create Speed HD...D* didn't brand it Speed HD...Speed did. Even though they do not offer HD programs today, they have purchased and installed the infrastructure to be able to deliver HD programming. D* has a contract to carry Speed HD, that's all. It's up to Speed to develop HD content. Send your complaints about programming to the people responsible. Which in these cases are the program providers, not D*.
