I am on the NR and am networked with a 20-700. A word of note, it just locked up again around noon. I had to reboot.

My DVRs are a mixture of CE and NR, and a mixture of networked and non-networked. They all were frozen when I got up this morning.

If not CE related... what is the root cause of the problem?

here's the thing....i did participate in the CE, however, this weekend, being a bonehead...i initiated a download and got the national release, and my HR locked up. the only thing that has seemed to stick was i was still able to get 1080P movies and watch them. not sure if this feature is still available on the national release, but im still getting it. mine did NOT lock up at noon, contrary to what other people are getting. for what its worth....

No network here, two NR HR21 freezeups.

Sorry to ask such a newbie question - but what is CE?

I found this site because my HR20 HD receiver wouldn't turn on this morning.

I didn't answer the poll. I have 2 HR20-700s. One is on this weekends CE release and one is on the national release. Both were locked up this morning.
