Need help with pricing and which receivers to send back in for best pricing plan. I also have a question on how far will the second TV2 option on the 622 can reach using the second remote and cable feet.
Currently I have top120 (1) 508 DVR (Theater Rm) and (2) 311 receivers (Bedroom and living Rm.) with a dish 500 in a leasing plan. I also have an old 311 receiver I own that is not hooked up.
I have already received my new 622 waiting on install date of 2/21. I am going with the Silver HD package.

I understand part of the pricing until it gets to the receiver charges.
(Leased vs. owned) and (SD vs. HD receivers) and (Main vs. 2nd rec.)
I believe your main receiver is included in your package.

    Silver package = 59.99
    DVR for 622 = 5.98
phone line = N/A have phone line hookup
    Locals = 5.00
DVR Rec = 6.00 If this is my main receiver will I pay this fee?
2nd Rec = 5.00 Will I pay this fee if I use my own 311 Rec? I may decided to keep the 508.

    My question are:

    1) 80 to 100 feet run between Theater RM where the 622 will sit and my
Bedroom for dual feed TV2. Will this work?
    2) Will the remote work OK Theater RM in Basement and Bedroom on 2nd floor.
    That’s 3 levels.
    3) Will I be charges a fee on my own receiver 311 if I send back all my existing
receivers (508, both 311) keeping the new 622?
    4) If I decide to keep the 508 which is my main receiver today. Which one will
become my main Receiver? 622= $6 or 508 = $5. I will like the 622 be my main
receiver so it is included in the silver package.
    5) Would it be OK for me to keep all the Receivers and play around with my sit up
for about a month then return what :confused I do not want?

    thanks,

    Thanks, kdg454
    hopefully last question.
Will I pay the $5.00 receiver fee no matter if I keep the leased 508 or use my own 311 box? Is there any advantage in using my own box?
Just a re-cap to make sure I have the pricing down.

    Silver package = 59.99
    DVR for 622 = 5.98
phone line = N/A have phone line hookup
    Locals = 5.00
622 Rec =N/A This will be my main receiver.
    2nd Rec = 5.00 (either leased 508 or owned 311 box)

Making a total of $75.97 without taxes.

    Someone Please verify price.

Should ask the installer for anything special? I assume I am getting a Dish 1000
    living in the Atlanta area.
Is Atlanta getting the locals in HD by March 13th?

    Thanks again

you aren't likely to need the 508 unless you need/want a second dvr. keep in mind, the 622 records over 200 hours of SD
The tv2 coax out on the 622 will feed any TV on the coax feed, via UHF channels. you can set a UHF channel for each output 1 and 2, so any tv can watch either output by tuning to the appropriate uhf channel. this is where the uhf remote comes in for running the box remotely :)

as for charges, if you keep the 508, you'd have an add't rcvr charge for it, but that is one with no dvr fee correct? so i think you got it right unless the 508 does have dvr fees.

The 508 does not have DVR fees.
