I got MRV installed today but the installer did not have the internet connect box. I know 4 wires come from the swm satellite without using the 16 expander thing. I am already using all 4 wires for boxes. From my understanding, one of the wires goes to the box connecting into the home network. My question is can one of the wires from the satellite be used for both the internet connect box and also for a receiver? If that's not possible then do I have to use the 16 expander in order to get my boxes online? Sorry for not knowing the technical names for this. One of my receivers is in the room with my router so distance isn't an issue if I can use the same line for the internet connect/receiver together.

D* is supposed to hook all that up for you. Currently, the 'internet connect box' is just another DECA adapter with a power supply, so there's absolutely no excuse for it not to be installed. I would encourage you to call and make them complete the installation. The coax leading to your receiver can be 'split' to go to the internet bridge.

But, if you just want it to work, you can try this DIY project, with parts you already have: http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?p=2459468#post2459468 .

Again, I encourage you to get D* to do it the way they're supposed to.
