I work in a Broadcast facility and have about 30 HR24's that I am looking to control via IP. Currently we route sources from Directv for our MATV system and change channels often between RSN's, ESPN, ECT. It would be nice if I can control each receiver via IP Where can I find such of a program?

I saw that, but these IRD's are on a high security network that does not have access to the internet. We like to keep things on internal network's away from bad people and bad things!

Maybe the Waltz Rmote forum could help.
    It's a bit sparse.

Or a friendly email to the author for details.

You may have to write your own for controlling that many... do a search for SHEF

Can you provide any other search terms? 'SHEF' didn't get anything useful for me.

    Thanks!

Try using 'DIRECTV SHEF' on Google.

The Scribd website has one of the most recent documents I've seen (October 2011) but it is a pay site that only shows the first few pages.

    I recommend a program called irule. (www.iruleathome.com.)

It works with android or ios. It is programmed with a website, but once you have the programming downloaded to your device, say an ipad, you can put a wifi access point on your secure network and connect with the iPad.

I love it. It is geared for dealers, but end users can buy it. It works directly via IP without any adapters. You can use the global cache gateways to control IR or serial devices. I use them as we'll.

I have 7 DVRs in my setup. You can create individual pages for each one or create macro buttons to control multiple devices at once.

This should work very well with what you are describing. Only drawback would be that a mobile device is required, no PC control.

Message me if you want more specifics. Www.iruleathome.com
