    Yes! Yes! Yes!

I don't do pads, tablets, ipham, or what not. (Mostly cuz I'm thrifty and I always have my laptop handy.) So for those of us who'd rather use laptops, netbooks, or even real PCs while we're watching TV, lets have at them apps. :)

(And for the Mac folk too.) :)

    Cheers,
    Tom

I like the idea of having it on my laptop, but I'd rather see it on Android tablets first. My wife and I each have a Xoom, and love the iPad interface. It would be nice to have access to these features on the Android platform, especially with Ice Cream Sandwich coming in the near future.

Ditto. I would definitely would use a laptop app but not nearly as much as I would an Android app. that would work on an android phone and tablet.

I would like an app for andrioid, ios, windows 7.5, mac's, pc's, and a web interface, all set up the same, with the same feel and functionality (functionality based on if your at your home network, or remotely. I still wish we could adjust our playlist remotely when I wasn't at home, i.e. delete shows, etc.)

Very much so. I really like the iPad app, but I am on my laptop much more than the iPad when I am watching TV. Please make it Mac version also though. :)

Yes, of course ! It;s a PITA to check 4 to do lists without a tool like this. Very often I'm in front of a PC and would like to check what my receivers are doing.

I'm much more on my iPad than on my laptop but I can see the benefits of the interface being utilized on other devices

I think it's very ironic that we're requesting an iPad app to be ported to a PC!

I answered the closest to "no" that the poll would allow. I just don't see it as an efficient use of resources.

Yes, I would like to see a PC based app since I have two slate/tablet PCs (ASUS EP121 and Acer Iconia W500). One is running Windows 7 and the other running Windows 8 Developer Preview. Would be nice if DirecTV would be working on a Metro app for Windows 8 when I it released also.

I think the app should be ported as well. While ios is nice to dev for ( all run the same thing) it is no longer the industry leader. Android has a larger market share than ever at this point and windows is still the average users choice. It should be made available to all the users possible

PC and/or web interface would be a HUGE win within our house.

You shouldn't be able to select "no" if you are using the Ipad app :p

I felt the poll should be more of a yeah,I want it cause I would use it, or a I don't care. I don't see this is a problem for performance on the receivers, or a if we get this we won't get other things.

This shouldn't affect the DVR speed anymore than the iPad or Android apps do.

    Cheers,
    Tom
