I've lost internet connection to HR54

    EDIT: Never mind, it fixed itself.



    I have an HR54 with several other receivers. Today I see a message on the Genie griping that it needs to be reconnected to the internet. When I click on reconnect, it gives an option to either connect directly to the Genie via ethernet, or connect wirelessly.

    I'm perplexed by this, as the Genie has never been connected directly. The entire system has always been connect through a DECA box, which is in another room. It's always been that way, it was set up that way by the tech, and it has always worked.

    The Genie is showing as being connected according to my router webpage. I've already rebooted teh genie and received the same message.

    I can see all of the other receivers on the Genie home sharing page.

    Any other ideas to try? And what a poor confusing message from the Genie as to the connection.

    How did you fix it? I had to go to the website yesterday and saw all my HRs listed as not connected to the Net.

    I’m guessing the reboot actually did fix it....and just took a couple of minutes to connect after it rebooted. Initially it was showing as disconnected even after the reboot.
