Looks like JetSTream has decided that there is a market for a Slingplay like device for your computer. Its both a device and software, and its not limited to your house. It is meant to stream to a device on a local wifi network, or via 3g while your away. It currently works with iPads, and Appletv, or will when its released anyway! That's big if you don't want to convert all your stuff to iTunes in order to watch it... Of course, they are only taking pre orders right now, but with the promise of eventually supporting multiple mobile devices, this could be the mobile version of sling that many have been looking for.

    There web site is:

Looks very interesting. I hesitate to pre-order, however, simply because the last time I pre-ordered something for the iPad (a ClamCase) shipping took forever (3 months) and when I got it and didn't like it, they wanted a 15% restocking fee.

So, while I find this product intriguing, I'll wait until it's out and people have put it through it's paces before I actually even think about getting one.
