Since I am new to this system, is there anything that can be done about the slow nature of everything in regards to the Joey2? On my Hopper, the guide and everything is just 'fast'. On the joeys, everything is very sluggish. There is a noticeable delay response to guide function, Home menus, etc.

Is that just part of the beast? Is that normal? It's kind of frustrating.

just remember, H is a server and J is a lightweight remote client what is send commands for execution on the server side; the server could be busy with prioritizing tasks
main function of J is a channels eg video/audio, not menus, clicks, etc
counting the client is having poor performance because of cheap components, don't expect same response time as on the server

OK. Just checking to make sure it's normal. It's not a problem so much as an annoyance.

i was using a jory 2 location more, and the slowness was driving me crazy. i ended up putting a 4k joey in there and moving the joey 2 into my exercise room. the 4k is tons faster than the joey 2 on the hopper 3 system.
