Disclaimer: This is not a bash at all.... Not sure if you guys will appreciate this or not but it gave me more appreciation than I already had for the MediaShare feature. I loaned my stand alone TiVo to my inlaws to use (complete with wireless USB, of course...). After teaching them about how to use the receiver I decided to show them about some of the features such as photos and music..... .....Oh yeah, I need TiVo desktop.. gotta go load that CPU killer.... Okay, software is loaded.... let's pull up the pics... ....and wait ....and wait... There's one! Let's start the slideshow! ....and wait.. Nevermind, let's watch TV. I think you guys catch my drift. For all of the issues some of us are having with MediaShare, the TiVo in this case had some of the same issues. It's on a wireless B network with only (maybe) 50 pics in the folder. Signal strength was at 80% and the PC was an XP Media Center.
