as with carrying the network feeds of ABC, NBC and CBS, which station affiliates did Ku-Band carry at the time? (1997) I know that the ABC Network feeds were carried on the Galaxy III Satellite.

    Sherman...
I was working in live closed-captioning circa 1997, and remember seeing WNBC, KNBC, and WXIA (Atlanta) on the same satellite that carried the NBC network feeds, but that's all I can tell you. Presumably ABC and CBS had the affiliates that were then being used as the out-of-market stations -- my memory tells me KOMO (Seattle) and WJLA (Washington) for ABC, and KPIX (San Francisco) and WSEE (Erie) for CBS.

Oh, but aside from WNBC (New York), KNBC (Los Angeles) and WXIA (Atlanta) what out-of-market stations were used for NBC feeds on Ku-Band? I know they also carried KING (Seattle), WMAQ (Chicago), KPNX (Phoenix), KXAS (Dallas-Ft. Worth), WTVJ (Miami-Ft. Lauderdale), KRON (San Francisco) among others... (as I understand, I know NBC used GE-1 for its satellite feeds on Ku-Band)
