So i decided to listen to Vince Scully call another game on Prime Sports in LA today. Being the last day of the preview of Extra Innings, I decided to watch it on Directv. While watching it I could not put my finger on what was different than usual. So I switched to MLB.TV on Apple TV and then it dawned on me. MLB.TV takes away the scroll. As a scroll hater, I am thrilled to see it not there. Oh, yea, for the purists the PQ is 5-10% below Directv. The loss of scroll though is a nice makeup.

Doubt they take it away. They are probably getting the feed before it goes through Prime. Directv is remapping the Prime rsn.

We have no fox in NY, therefore I was unaware of it. I hate crawl!!!

And the Fox one is more obnoxious than the espn one. The fox one is bright blue with huge letters. I'm not even sure fox is doing it in HD. It is that big.

Fox gave us the fox box (good) but them changed it to the horrible fox bar which was across the screen and huge and not even at the very top. At least they are back to a box but now this huge crawl.

I already watch ESPN baseball games with the audio muted, now I need to find a way to cover the EPSN crawl and the FOX RSNs crawls when games are on.

Yep, all MLB.TV feeds are from the truck (no tickers, stadium sound option, etc).

I hate tickers and I'm glad the NY RSNs do not use them (for longer than a few minutes during live games.)

It's a bit odd - good, but odd - FOX has not added the full time crawl for their NHL games.
Do they just think baseball is too slow?

So on MLBTV you can take the feeds with no announcers? Thats kind of cool.

I'm not liking the scores at the bottom of the screen either. Starting with NFL Sunday Ticket This Coming Year I am cancelling the package and next year for baseball i will cancel MLB Extra Innings. I don't like how sports stations continuously have to show scores from other games and clutter the screen. It's taking away from watching the game on. It just keeps getting worse every season something new and worse. The current FOX Box is good but the Scores running ALL the time at the bottom Stinks.
