Does anyone know why it is that for the average person to look at a lightning strike map on the internet it cost them their left.... arm? Something similar to this isn't cheap. http://www.weatherbank.com/lightning.html I used to subscribe to weathertap and they HAD decent maps, but they changed and now they have nothing more than the free map at lightningstorm.com. Is there something that the gov't doesn't want you seeing with the lightning strike data? This is something that's puzzled me for a number of years.
