    Network list has 148 markets.
    I believe there are 150.
Huntsville Al. and Juneau Ak are missing.
Directv's Local market list(directv.com___ locals) states 150 markets but only listed 149. Odessa Tx is missing.
My OCD is really acting up!!

    Doc,

Odessa is a part of Market #137, along with Hobbs, NM.

I'll try to discover if there are problems with Juneau, AK and Huntsville, AL.

    Thanks!

Trying to reconcile Directv LIL list which reports " 2nd Dish needed" which makes me categorize this DMA as a 72.5 market. However I believe some of these are KA only markets and new LIL DMA markets only available on MPEG4 receivers.

Questions exist on my crosscheck relative to:

    NETWORK 526 Bangor Maine
    NETWORK 528 Beaumont, Texas
    NETWORK 540 Butte, Montana
    NETWORK 568 Dothan, Alabama
    NETWORK 596 Harrisonburg, Virginia
    NETWORK 648 Odessa, Texas
    NETWORK 654, Palm Springs, California

Have any of these markets ever been anything except MPEG 4???

Are 99s or 103s being used at this time?

    Dripping...
Yes they are, that's where all the local into local HD channels come from.

The attachments are fully complete and updated CONUS TPN Maps.

One of the supplemental attachments for the LIL TPN Maps post is applicable for these CONUS Maps too:

NETWORK_DECODER - a table displaying the overall layout of your receiver signal strength display.

Seems like all the D10 and D11 spots are in the charts as SW1 and SW2?

Yes. The chart has all the LIL's from:
    101W - D1R, D4S, D8, D9S
    119W - D7S
    72W - D1
    99W - D11 and SW2
    103W - D10 and SW1

got that but seems like the d10 and d11 spots are labeled as sw1 and sw2 instead of d10 and d11.

Perhaps Net#11 ( cover W99.2 SB ) aggregate SB from SW-2 and D-11, same for Net#14 ( cover W102.8 SB ) include SW-1 and D-10 SB tpns. Convolute system tables.

The numbers of LIL's by sat is about right. Remember, the Spaceway's have phased-array antennas. Per the specs (a Tom Robertson post) they can have up to 2,000 spot beams each. We may see a lot of channel shifting as the engineers endeavor to take advantage of that capability.

    I'm confused.

A few weeks ago there was a file with all the LIL info.

For the NY DMA ... found the network # (645) ... looked in the PDF for that network # ... and found that the NY LIL HD channels were now on 99(s) transponders 16 and 20.

    Cool. Great. Everything looked right.

    Had a 100% signal. D11 does have a transponder 16 & 20. Perfect.

Now when I look in the most current PDF, those same LIL HD channels show "SW2".

There is no listing for any of the D10 or D11 spotbeams.

Seemed to be an error with the listing.

Unless I'm not reading this right.

    Exactly.

Then maybe the list should say "2 Sats" instead of "SW2"?

    SW2 is only transponders 1-6.

    D11 - 99(s) is 16-24.

Actually, gct had all that tpn/sat right in his first table "Transponders and Network Numbers"; I think there is some algo missed what should separate those sats by tpn ranges for Net#14 and Net#11.

    gct,

"A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;" [Ecclesiastes, chapter 3:5]

It's time to get feedback from ppl.
I would ask to post screenshots for 99(s) and 103(s) from each DMA to validate each tpn in your tables.
Screenshots would be only one credible source of the info.

I think the Nashville locals are quite correct - 99(s), tp 17 for current channels and 18 for expansion (soon I hope!). Here's the best I can do: screen cap from the Slingbox on my R22-200 through the 'net from work. Signals are a couple points low due to mist and light rain in the area.

LL, what's about 103(s) ? You don't have any signal from it ?

I do but I'm pretty sure the ones in the 90's are neighboring cities, since your data and gct's tables say my locals are on 99(s) at 17 and 18 (which correlates with my signal strengths).

EDITED TO ADD: I just verified from your data that tp 4 at 103(s) is for Evansville, IN, a few hours north of here. Given the geometry involved, I'm not surprised I get such high readings for that one.
