I'm in the Chicago area and am experiencing this issue as well. Thanks for all the info, especially the fact that it is only local HD channels (my wife won't be too happy about that).
What is the best method to try forcing the guide update mentioned by harsh? I'd like to give that a try to see if it at least clears things up for future recordings.
Just checked and it appears to be working now though the buffer only goes back to about 4:20 pm. I reset one HR24 with no recordings scheduled and now the guide data is incomplete.
How do I force an HR24-200 to update it's Guide
I believe this applies to all DVR models (and probably the non-DVRs as well).
Looks like it's fixed for new recordings.

Thanks harsh. When I went to try this I found that things already seem to be fixed for me, so I didn't end up needing to update the guide.
Until they fix at the mothership and send it down it won’t be fixed
Same here, HR54-200 (0x14d2), C61K-700 (0x14b8), experiencing no issues.
It's fixed. Only happened with chicago HD locals. Guide data problem, no software update needed.
