If the writers strike doesn't end we'll be waiting even longer. :(

I love the first episodes, at least for seasons 1 and 3. In season 1 we (well, Jack) wake up on the beach amid a plane crash and have no idea what's going on. I loved it.

And seeing the same thing in season 3, but from the POV of the Others was great too. Their supposedly tranquil and idyllic lifestyle upset by intruders...good stuff!

    I don't remember how season 2 opened.

I'm truly a Lost addict. If I for some reason could only watch one TV show, it would be Lost hands down.

Battlestar Galactica is a close #2.

You are right. They changed it again!! Just like they keep moving around all the other shows, some at the last minute like NCIS!

I just saw the commercial as well, this season looks really great, even though we'll only get to see 8 ep.

I'm glad they are not doing the 10pm (est) time slot again. Too late for me to stay up, and I would have to race home the next day to watch the recording! Read where the first show on 1/31/08 will feature both Sawyer and Hurley.

Was this always the plan or does it have something to do with the strike?

They were supposed to do a 16 Ep. season, but since they have only 8 ep. filmed, there isn't much choice but to only air the ones filmed. I've heard they might have to change the storyline if they don't air the other ones. Who knows where it is going.

so how can they edit the story line with the writters strike going on?
if they try to get someone else who would be willing to cross the line?

That's what I was trying to figure out. Maybe since the other 8 aren't filmed yet, they much change them. Not exactly sure why they couldn't just air the remaining episodes next season. Who knows what will happen.

your guess is better than mine, i have no idea what they're thinking is all about. there has been several shows that was really good that just fell off the face of the earth. anyway, i just seen the commercial about Jan 31st premier. it looked the same as it did back when they was airing the statement of showing all 18 shows in a row next year. so maybe there's still some hope left after all.
