I get MeTV on subchannel 26.2 in Medford, Oregon (KMVU---the local Fox Network affiliate----is the principal channel). Their shows air three hours later in Medford than on Dish Network (which apparently uses the Eastern feed).
Must be nice. At my regular residence I get two markets OTA with ME both on sub channels. The only difference between the two METV`s are the water mark station logos as both run the same commercials. I`m betting your local inserts it`s own commercials and mine are just lazy and map the satellite feed into their broadcast
I see in the Seattle DMA 247 METV is no longer available as it is on KFFV 45. Interesting that Dish has regional restrictions on METV and not on GRIT, GETTV, BUZZR, LAFF, etc. Maybe they do, but no OTA station running those networks are available on Dish as far as I know. Here, I generally watch METV on 2.2 KATU anyway as it is in HD. Now COMET streams as well as CHARGE, so I doubt if Dish added those there would not be regional restrictions.
You no longer get it from DISH I suspect on 247?
Anyone with a METV affiliate on Dish (not OTA), the viewer has lost the national feed on 247.
Did anyone ever report receiving METV via a satellite carried local and channel 247 then report not getting 247? How can one lose what one did not receive?
The way DISH has arranged it, everyone should be receiving METV either via their local satellite carried affiliate or channel 247 if the local feed is a subchannel that is not satellite carried.
That fits me...I have METV on local subchannel 2 not carried by Dish so I get channel 247 from Dish..
Same here... METV is on an OTA sub-channel, but one that is not carried by Dish. And I do get the 247 feed here.
In the beginning when #247 METV was added, customers with a local carrying METV on Dish, like in Seattle, were getting both #247 and the local. But as of last week, #247 was dropped from those customers.
