You also don't get MLB-TV with DTV until opening day so you can't watch any of the spring training games that might only be on MLB-TV only.

    Reynoldsburg...
I swear I've been able to activate MLB.TV earlier than Opening Day, but I might be wrong. I tried watching a game from last season within the past few days and could not. If I had a wish list for things I could improve with EI, and it would be a short list, the activation issue would be one item (along with clearing all replays both the nights of/day after games and during the offseason).
I know my Gameday Audio subscription lasts all year so I can listen to Spring Training games, games from previous seasons, etc. whenever I want.

Not true. I was able to watch all the spring training games last season. They added that feature last season. Of course, it was only through MLB AB streaming which is included with MLB EI. BTW, just got a notice on my LG tv that MLB will no longer allow streaming MLB AB on LG tv's. Don't know if that's true on other platforms, but that can't be good if Disney is abandoning MLB AB on some platforms. Always liked the ability to stream the games on my other tv's and not have to be connected to the stb.

Didn't work for me last season. I tried several times during spring training games and it wouldn't accept the DTV credentials. On opening day it started working for me.

So the notification came through the LG notifications recently? I haven't seen that yet. I usually use the app on the FireTV Cube anyway as it seems to have less buffering than using the TV app.

Showed up on my LG tv last night. I always delete the app before the start of spring training and download again. Works fine with my ATV and got to see all the spring training games via the ATV.

I think MLB EI will cost more than .TV

But I personally prefer to watch via D*
Also the EI subscription includes .TV

I think it depends on whether you have an MLB account that is linked to your DTV account. Last year I couldn't get the MLB.TV games even after the season started. When I tried to log in with my DTV account, it wouldn't let me authenticate through DTV. I would always get a message that the account was already linked and to call customer service. The DTV CSR I spoke to couldn't figure out what the problem was, so he made up a bogus story that it wasn't going to work until about a week after the season started per agreement with MLB. I called MLB.TV support, where they looked up my MLB account and said it was linked to my DTV account, and that I should log on with the MLB account. That worked. I'm not sure why I even bother calling DTV when I have an issue. If they don't know the answer, they will just make something up to get you off the phone.

Where do you see it? I checked my account and I'm not seeing any MLB EI pricing.

When I go to that screen, there isn't any option to activate MLB EI.
