Could be interesting, if it happens.

This being the first week of Sunday Ticket, there are a few slight changes to EI today.

In prior years, the Mix Channel was not active on NFL Sundays, but is active today.

To accommodate ST, Rogers' / Jays and CSN / Astros feeds are not available, although the CSN / Phillies is.

And oddly, the Reds are not televising their game vs. the Mets at all.

Last year, just for fun, I called and complained about the lack of the Mix channel due to ST, and without being asked, the CSR gave me a $5 monthly credit for 6 months!

It is the final day of the regular season, six important games are being played, and I am being told that I am NO LONGER SUBSCRIBED to MLB.TV or At Bat! HORRIBLE timing for this!

Yes, but I couldn't access them on the iPad because At Bat locked me out saying I had no subscription. I had to uninstall, reinstall, create a new account under a different email address, and sign up for a free trial of At Bat before I could get any audio or video streams. This after an hour plus of troubleshooting that led nowhere. On a computer, the MLB.TV streams were available as game-of-the-day offerings, but that doesn't extend to mobile devices and tablets without at least a paid At Bat subscription.

Still a major, ill-timed failure. I thought they'd get it right by the end of the season, but clearly they didn't. Even the trick of re-authorizing through DIRECTV did nothing this time, unlike the several other times the subscription disappeared on me throughout the season.

Another season of EI is over and once again it's time to say thanks for the best sports deal on offer.

182 days, over 2,000 games for $1.10 per day, less than 10 cents a game.

    The occasional screw up? Yes.

    A problem or 2 with mlb.tv. Yes.

But I still dare you to come up with a better offer.

Thanks, DirecTV, for the most comprehensive offering of this package.

Always a depressing day for me when the regular season ends. Nothing quite like having the daily friend of baseball to keep me company for six months. Even if it is the Mets. :) Go Tigers.

I would tend to agree. MLB EI probably missed no more than 20 games this season most of which were due to no TV broadcast at all. And most games had dual feeds. Only feeds consistently missing were CLTV and NBC SF, although Rogers SN and CSN Philly/Houston may not have been as consistent as we would like (due to space constraints when other sports channels were needed).

The biggest issue that MLB has left is to fix the insane local blackout map.

I have the same issue. Starting on Saturday I have lost MLB.AT bat access and MLB.TV. You can't restore you can't reauthorize through Directv. I just spent 45 minutes on the phone with MLB's help desk to try to fix it and he was supposed to transfer me to another level of service and then they disconnected me. I think the problem started when they tried to provide free access.this weekend somehow it has totally cut off access to many of us who had acccess all year. Now for the postseason we have no MLB AT bat

Is the post season even included? I though that was a separate purchase/product?

Not sure but I am getting a $3.99 purchase price for the "season" and $2.99 for the month. Guess you can save a buck if you wait until tomorrow.

Where do you see that? I went to the game listing page and it just lists the upcoming games, shows me as subscribed and doesn't indicate I need to buy anything. Seems to me you had to in the past though. This year it is through DIRECTV though so I'm not quite sure how it works.

Okay yes, I see that, and it does sound like a good tip to wait until tomorrow as I'll be able to see today's game at home. On the other hand, for just $1 it might be worth it just to make sure it works later on!

I'm getting a different message now. I went back to a September 3 archive game and was able to relogin via directv and archived games are working.

I am getting regional blackout now for tonight's game but maybe something will work when the game actually starts.

Try going to an old archived game and see if you can reauthorize.

It appears I haven't lost authorization, at least not on the TiVo MLB.tv app, I just started an archived game and it plays, so who knows. It just hit me that this game would be blacked out for me anyway as I'm in the A's market, didn't really think about that as I don't really follow either of the two teams playing tonight. And tomorrow's game is also one of my market teams, the Giants, so I won't know if I still have access until Friday.

I'm not able to see anything now. Old games, live games...nothing works. It tells me I don't have an active subscription...

Worked fine for me earlier today but now it keeps kicking me back to a login even after it verifies my TV provider.

Okay, when you go to the Watch/Listen page(browser viewing method) and then click on Watch select the regular season for current subscribers and not the post season section. Seems backwards to me but it works, whereas the more seemingly intuitive method does not.

MLB.tv asked me to reauthorize my ID and DirecTV account..

Then the game came up no problem...

About 3 or 4 pitches behind TBS.
