Therein is the key. A bouncing ball that goes over the bag and lands foul is fair, but a ball in flight that goes over the bag and does not then touch fair territory is, in fact, foul.

Anyone who thinks the ump was incompetent on his call on that play needs their head examined.

I wouldn't call Adrian Johnson incompetent; rather, he simply erred. As humans, umpires will occasionally make mistakes. He did; now it's history.

No Extra Innings feed for the Athletics-Rockies game today. It's the free game on MLB.tv for those that want to watch it.

So we have the Phillies feed of the Phillies-Blue Jays game, but no SportsNet feed for the Blue Jays...why? It's not on SportsNet 1, it's just on the regular SportsNet.

Once again, a completely random and arbitrary usage of these feeds. DirecTV really needs to figure this stuff out.

For whatever reason, Red Sox and Cubs just blacked out.

Not every game or feed is included. Get over those expectations and it's a great package.

It gets cheaper I recall, but I don't think it gets to even half price, somewhere a bit north of that.

I've never seen this latest deal before, it was a great bargain, middle of June and they knocked off $70? Wow! Maybe the half season price will be more attractive this year.

I wonder if unknown to us the sports leagues have begun to see the effects of their prices and rate raising to the point they really have priced themselves out of a lot of people's range. I can't just see MLB being nice and cutting the price. Makes me wonder if there were quite a few less subs this year. Or NFL ST's price drop this coming season. Yeah I know there's less games than before with Thursday night football every week, but fewer games never made them lower it before.

I know FOX has it's exclusive window on Saturday and I've learned to live with missing the Mets on Saturday's when they are not the Fox game in my area. Why has the amount of games gone up so much in the last month or two? It used to be three games every Saturday, now it's 5-6. This has doubled the odds of the Mets being a part of the FOX window and they're never shown in my area when they are.

This really does suck. As FOX wants to hog the entire time period and force people to watch the game they want them to see, I am boycotting all FOX games.

Don't blame FOX, what they are doing is good business if they can get it. And guess who gave it to them? MLB. Perhaps you should boycott MLB since they allowed that block of time to be purchased exclusively by FOX, just as they allowed ESPN to get its block of time on Sunday. MLB put money ahead of its fans, not FOX and ESPN.
